On June 26, members of the Carman Fire Department were dispatched to six calls in the period of 30 minutes due to various power outages. The biggest event occurred when primary lines came down in the front yard of a house causing quite the show. First arriving units found the lines down and immediately requested National Grid expedite to the scene. Once power was cut, crews soaked the heated lawn to prevent possible fire spread. Only minor injuries to a resident were reported.
Good work to everyone who responded that night.
